What is it?
The Bulk Move/Delete tool allows you to select a number of pages and either delete (move them to the Trash) or move them all to a new location under a new parent page.
Note |
---|
Whichever pages are selected to be moved will become children of the new parent page, i.e. they will be all on the same level. This may not be the intended effect you are looking for! If you want to keep the page structure, you should select only the immediate children using the children selector buttons. For more information, see the content selection tutorial page. |
Warning |
---|
Although there is an option to undo a move, you should still try to be careful with this tool. Although you will not lose any data, you can easily move all the pages in your space to the Trash or mess up your page structure. Therefore it is only available to be used by those with administrator rights. Please use with caution! |

Initially when loading the page or when changing the space, you will see a spinner in the middle of the screen. This indicates that the pages box is being refreshed. Please wait for the process to finish before choosing a target page. |
Next, you will need to choose the target parent page from the page selector box. You can help to find the page by searching in the search field, if necessary. Once you have chosen the new parent page, you are ready to move the pages. Make sure the pages you want to move are selected, and simply click on the "Move Pages" button.
